Rodolphe Duguay was a preeminent Quebec painter and printmaker, widely regarded as one of Canada’s master engravers. His work is celebrated for its poetic and spiritual portrayal of rural Quebec life. Duguay was the first and only student of the renowned artist Marc-Aurele de Foy Suzor-Cote.
