Massive Art Deco Advertising Magic Illusionist Poster, George the Supreme Master of Magic
Description
Vintage Art Deco advertising poster for "George The Supreme Master of Magic" advertising his "Triumphant American Tour".
The original poster was printed around 1929 by the Otis Lithograph Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
The poster is a collectible item from the golden age of magic.
Composed of eight panels arranged to present the image which measures 103 inches H x 78 W.

Magician: George (born Grover George, 1887-1958).
Era: The poster is a classic Art Deco period advertisement, generally dated to around 1924-1929.
Printer: The Otis Lithograph Company in Cleveland, Ohio. Marked on panels, B – 4 – 8 – George – 41637
George achieved significant success touring in Central and South America but faced strong competition and legal challenges from the prominent American magician Howard Thurston, which hampered his success in the United States. He eventually retired in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
