Pair of 20th C Egyptian Revival Gilt Bronze Ormolu Lacquered Pedestals
Description
A pair of 20th-century Egyptian Revival pedestals made of gilt bronze and ormolu-mounted black lacquer. Standing 43.5" tall, each features a circular dished top.
Three shaped legs, topped with Egyptian mask finials and joined by delicate chain swags, descend into ram’s-head knees and terminate in cloven ormolu feet. This ornate structure rests on a tripartite base accented by a central rosette and flat bun feet.
