Screenprint on paper, with red BANKSY vertical stamp at lower right and signed in black ink. Numbered 24/250.
Sheet approx. 22.5 by 16.5 inches.
Unexamined out of frame.
This print bears many characteristics associated with the early Pictures on Walls (POW) edition of Rude Copper produced circa 2002, including:
the vertical red BANKSY stamp;
the early graffiti-style Banksy signature in black ink;
numbering consistent with the known edition of 250;
and the correct stencil-derived police officer motif.
As the work has not been submitted to Pest Control Office for authentication, it is offered as “Attributed to Banksy” in accordance with auction-house standards for unsigned or uncertified early works.
Condition
Good overall condition; framed. Full condition available on request.
