Fratelli Toso, Murano Glass Vase with Aventurine and Pink Interior, circa 1950s

An elegant mid-century Murano glass vase of conical form with three gently lobed vertical arches and a softly triangular, waved rim.
The glass is composed of translucent opaline white with fine internal gold aventurine and a delicate blush-pink inner casing.
The combination of mould-blown relief decoration, subtle colour gradation, and refined proportions reflects the sophisticated production of Fratelli Toso during the 1950s.
Retains its original blue “Made in Italy” paper label to the underside typical of period export ware from the Murano furnaces.
Comparable examples of lobed and waved-rim aventurine vases by Fratelli Toso are illustrated in post-war Italian glass literature.
