Irene Klar (Canadian, b.1950) Watercolour, Daughters of Manuelito 1986. Signed and dated lower right, paper measures 22.5” x 29.5”, frame measures 31 x 38 inches. Irene Klar was born in Montreal in 1950 and is known for her paintings inspired by humanity, textiles, patterns, and colors.
Her work often portrays a "universal indigenous woman" using sculptural lines and a rainbow palette.
