Antique military watercolor on paper showing a decorated soldier with medals, leaning on crutches beside a striped frontier post. Signed in Cyrillic (P. Disner) and dated 1861. The subject and striped border marker are characteristic of Russian military imagery of the mid-19th century, evoking veterans of the Crimean War and Imperial frontier service. Sheet approx. 11.5 × 7.5 in., framed.
Condition: Minor toning and handling marks, otherwise well-preserved.
