Copy of Carte Geographique de la Nouvelle Franse, a famous map created by Samuel de Champlain. The map was first published in 1613 as part of Champlain’s book, Les Voyages du Sieur de Champlain Xaintongeois. It is considered one of the most significant early maps of North America, detailing the Atlantic coast and parts of the interior, including the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River. Map measures 17 x 29”W, frame measures 24” x 36”W.
