Antique Hand Made American Quilt with Lone Star Pattern
Description
Large Antique quilt with a large central “Lone Star” pattern and smaller stars in the corners. This design is one of the oldest and most recognizable American quilt patterns. The Lone Star pattern, also known as the Star of Bethlehem or Morning Star, is a complex design made from many small diamond-shaped pieces of fabric. The pattern is popular with the Amish and in the Southern United States, with its name often attributed to Texas quilters as a tribute to the Lone Star State. Measuring 70” x 86”
