Arts Crafts Castle Son Pottery Crystalline Vase

Arts and Crafts lamp base most likely American C. 1900-1910. Crystalline glaze of daffodil flowers, some loss to glaze, as shown. Bears a partial Castle and Sons inventory paper label under the vase. Thomas Castle and Sons worked as interior decorators for some of Montreal’s wealthiest families. They also worked in partnership with Montreal Architectural firm Edward and W.S. Maxwell. As lamp, measures 11 inches H, vase measures 7.5 inches. Not currently wired.
