Colvin Smith (R.S.A. 1795-1875) Oil on Canvas Portrait of Francis Lord Jeffrey (1773-1850). Half length portrait of Francis Lord Jeffrey wearing a black coat and white stock. Lord Jeffrey was a Scottish Judge, critic and editor from 1803-29 of The Edinburgh Review. Canvas measures 30 inches H x 25 W, frame measures 33 x 38 inches. Hole in upper centre of painting.
