19th C Religious Figure Dress Carving or Catalan Cap-i-pota, Madonna of Sorrows, Carved wood with original polychrome finish, Glass eyes. Satin dress with embroidered metallic thread and human hair, sword in her breast. Some loss to hands, gesso. Figure measures 15.5 inches, attached to base measures 17.5 inches x 7 W.
