Pair of Victorian period red lacquerware glove boxes with hand painted images of birds and a stork on the lid in gold and reds, circa 19th century, possibly Japanese in origin. Some damage to edges, as shown. Larger box measures 12 inches L x 3.5 W x 2 deep.
