Pootoogook Qiatsuk Inuit Soapstone Walrus Faces
Pootoogook Qiatsuk (Cape Dorset – Kinngait, Nunavut, b. 1959), large hand carved mottled stone figure of a walrus, at the base a large face on one side and an upper female torso on the other side, signed on base in syllabic with artists name. 14 inches H x 7 W x 4 deep.
