Exceptional Edo Samurai Armor Katana and Kabuto
Exceptional Edo Samurai Armor Katana and Kabuto. All pieces appear to be matching, a very rare find! Katana is signed Koyama Munetsugu. Overall good condition. 91cm(36") long. 30mm wide at tsuba (1 3/8"), measures 26.5 inches from habaki to boshi. Tsuba signed Echizen Ju Kinai saku. Beautifully crafted Koshirae. High quality fittings. Menpo is signed Yoshihisa. Haidate also signed. 62 plate Kaboshi Kabuto of exceptional quality. Each plate with 30 pointed rivets (excluding the front and back plates). The armor is "Tetsu Sabiji nimai-do gusoku" Nunome-zogan decorated russet iron two-part cuirass. The set also includes the jingasa, ogi and yoroi bitsu. Height of suit as shown is 67 inches.
