Red Ochre Mama Mangam Mask Nigeria Africa

A fine Mama Mangam mask, Nigeria, Africa Wood, red ochre, 30 cm high, 12 inches L x 9 W x 4.5 H. These masks were used in the Mangam society and refer to a supernatural being. Although the theoretical aspect of Mangam is an exclusive club and members deal in healing.
