19th Century Italian Grand Tour Bronze Askos Vessel Pitcher decorated with a lioness (as handle) standing above a cherub. An askos was an ancient Greek pottery vessel used to pour small quantities of liquids such as oil. 7.5 inches H x 8 L x 4.5 W.
