Pair Chinese Black Lacquer Cloisonne Dragon Chests
Near pair of 19th century Chinese chests, black lacquered and gilt auspicious Buddhist motifs and scenes of dragons pursuing flaming pearls with Cloisonne fittings on the lid and sides, decorated with floral and foliage motifs against blue backgrounds. 22 inches H x 27 W x 20.5 inches deep. Some loss to lacquer, one plate has come off as shown.
