Made for Egyptian Queen Farida (1921-1988) in honour of her marriage to King Farouk 1st (1920-1965) as a devotional gift. The box is sterling silver with gilt interior, decorated with Gold Rope Twists and Pave Diamonds in the form of the Royal Insignia for Queen Farida. Along the corners are cross hatched gold rope twists embedded with semi-precious gemstones. With letter of authentication from the Princess Ferial Farouk dated 2005. 939.2 grams total weight, 7.5 inches L x 5 deep x 2.25 H. Missing one gemstone as shown.
