Antique finely painted portrait miniature of a graceful lady meant to represent Lady Hamilton holding her dog, signed Romney, after George Romney (England, 1734 – 1802) set in decorative frame with inlay and engraved floral design, the back covered in old letter paper with writing on reverse, circa first half 19th century. Portrait measures 4 inches H x 3.25 W, frame measures 5.5 inches H x 5 W.
