Antique Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Koshirae
Long wakizashi signed Kananobu Saku. The 53.3 cm or 21 inches blade comes in a shirasaya (white sheath wooden scabbard), the koshirae has the wooden sword. The blade is a very healthy one with a nice itame hada (wood grain pattern) and a very nice dancing hamon. The koshirae with wooden blade is in very good condition. The tsuba is remarkable, with waves, clouds and mountains. The dark blue silk-cord is tight and in great shape. The fuchi and kashira are iron carved with colored seashells, the menuki hidden are remarkable also , as is the brass habaki. Note: loose when the blade is put in the koshirae. Comes with two silk bags.
