Collection of 6 pieces of early Quebec ironstone pottery from the Stone Chinaware Company that was located in St Johns, Quebec (today Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu), four pieces are in the Wheat pattern with wheat sheaves around the border, all pieces fully marked on back, circa 4th quarter 19th century. The Stone Chinaware Company of St. Johns Quebec was the only company in Canada to mass produce ironstone in the 19th century and were in operation from 1873 to 1893. Largest platter measures 14 inches L x 10.5 W.
