Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword Nihonto
Early to mid-Edo Japanese samurai wakizashi in koshirae, total length 27.6 inches (70 cm) with a blade of 16.5 inches (42 cm). The blade is mumei, or unsigned, and offers a few blemishes, but in good condition overall. Nice detailed fuchi and kachira, nice menuki. The silk on the tsuka offers little to no fraying. The scabbard is in good condition for age, blade is loose in handle. Comes with a silk bag. C. 1650-1750
