Victorian Mourning Hair Wreath Initials 1852

Victorian large mourning hair wreath with flowers and curled sprays, the center with initials PL and date 23 Novembre 1852, set in oval ebonized wood frame with brass centre and concave glass, possibly Quebec or France in origin; two cracks to back glass that hair is set on, concave front is undamaged. Framed measures 7 inches H x 6 W.
