Antique Chinese Shansi Lacquered Leather Box
Chinese antique lacquered wood box covered in leather with hand painted village life scenes in gold and black, with brass fittings and inside with removable tray. Stated to be from Shanxi province, with certificate of authenticity from Charlotte Horstmann and Gerald Godfrey Ltd, Kowloon, Hong Kong. 10.5 x 6 x 6.5 inches H. Some loss to lacquer on base, please see photos.
