Japanese Long Katana Gendaito Signed Minamoto
Japanese Long Katana Gendaito (Japanese blades produced from 1876-1945) superb blade of 29.5 inches, impeccable and a very nice hamon. Blade is signed by Minamoto Yoshimune Saku and is presented in a signed shirasaya (White sheath) from the Edo period. Comes with a Meiji period (1868-1926) big gold katana sword stand (Katanakake) decorated with Tokugawa Mon on nashiji-nuri (gold painted powder sprinkled with Japanese lacquer). Sword measures 44 inches L in sheath, stand measures 16 H x 20 W x 9.5 inches deep.
