Antique Japanese Long Koshirae Daito Wooden Blade
Antique Japanese long koshirae daito with wooden blade (tsunagi). Very dark patina, menuki is a samurai running, fuchi and kashira are iron, exceptional tsuba is iron with family crest (futatsodomoe mon) and represents two comma-shaped figures. Early Edo, C.1650. Sword measures 41.5 inches L, saya measures 31.5 inches L, tsuka measures 10 inches L, wooden blade measures 30.5 inches L. Please note the stand does not come with the sword.
