Japanese Sukesada Samurai Wakizashi, NBTHK Tsuba
Very fine signed Muromachi period Jyu Sukesada wakizashi, with exceptional NBTHK Myochin tsuba. The 16.5 inches blade is in good condition with some blemishes and scratches. The koshirae is wonderful with fuchi , kashira and menuki all chiseled with inserts of gold. The tsuka, or handle, is also very nice with wrapped tight leather in very good condition. The black wooden lacquered saya offers a ribbed shape, and in excellent condition. Overall a very collectible wakizashi. No rack included.
