Antique Japanese Samurai Armor Jinbaori
Antique Japanese Edo period samurai armor Jinbaori or armor surcoat, linen cotton and silk. It has a nice Mon (family crest) in the back. A high-ranking samurai would have worn a Jinbaori like this over his armor for protection against the elements and as a display of his status and his Mon. 23 inches W x 38 L. Some loss to piping, silk is fragile.
