Victorian Sterling Silver Kings Dessert Set for 18
Victorian sterling silver handled dessert fruit cheese set for 18 in the Kings pattern. Sterling handles marked with makers mark of MH and Co for Martin, Hall and Company, with hallmarks crown for Sheffield, lion passant and what appears to be the Queen’s head. There is no date cypher but Martin, Hall and Company used this mark from about 1853 to the early 1860s, and the Sheffield crown mark form also confirms this period, silver plated blades and tines marked MH and Co. Set in original felt lined wooden box, box has crack in lid.
