Description
Sculptural brooch with a tubular 14K yellow gold frame and 18K yellow gold corner elements, centred by a natural lapis lazuli plaque weighing approximately 40.33 carats and measuring 48 × 32 × 2 mm. Applied with a carved natural white opal depicting an Asian-style female figure surrounded by foliage, measuring approximately 38 × 21 mm; the opal is possibly of Australian origin. The corners are bezel-set with four natural round brilliant-cut diamonds measuring approximately 3.8 mm and weighing an estimated 0.20 carat each, for a total of 0.80 carat, graded SI clarity and G–H colour. Overall dimensions: 65 × 50 mm. Gross weight: 45.97 g. Reviewed by a gemologist.
