THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A rectangular shaped vintage Chinese handmade woven Shanghai weave rattan and bamboo box with wood rims, the top with an intricately woven seated giraffe with his head bowed down one could assume eating, the giraffe with various carved varnished wood elements, the body of the box with a multi tone geometric design, the underside of lid with the Shanghai Handicrafts paper label stamped 325-1040, circa mid-century 2nd half 20th century.
Dimensions: 9.5 inches H x 8 W x 5 deep.
