THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A uniquely shaped antique Chinese silk hand embroidered panel, the finely embroidered design showing two mythical phoenix birds with a surrounding floral design with butterfly and ducks, the edge with two crewel work flowers with gold threading, the lower part showing waves of the sea, with a modern brocade edge and olive green silk backing, late Qing dynasty to early Republic period, 20th century. Measuring 8 inches H x 14 W.
