An antique Chinese hand made long altar cloth or table banner with intricately hand embroidered bats and mythological creatures like foot dogs and yazi interspersed with flowers and foliage motifs, all done in gold thread with mirror work, set on a red silk ground with brocade edge, Qing dynasty 19th century. Condition statement – wear to banded edge, fading and a few missing elements, some loose threads. Measuring 20.5 inches W x 119 L.
