THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A finely crafted Chinese antique children’s collar shaped like a fierce lion, of gold satin with applique details and embroidered edges, elaborate detailed face with various raised elements, these types of collars were more common in the Chinese northern provinces, the lion giving protection to the wearer, circa late Qing dynasty late 19th – early 20th century. Measuring 9 inches W x 8 deep.
