Description

A large Sevres porcelain platter in the historic royal hunting service (le service de chasse) style, originally commissioned by King Louis-Philippe for the Chateau de Fontainebleau. 


Features an intricate hand-painted polychrome and gilt-tooled neo-Renaissance border showcasing foliate scrollwork, Greek key motifs, and hunting medallions. Centered by a finely detailed gilt rosette. 

Measures 16.75 inches in diameter. Signed on the underside.
