Description

Lot of Two Murano Glass Incalmo Technique Small Vases, where separate bands of colored glass are fused together seamlessly while hot. Each vase features a bulbous, rounded base – one rendered in a two-tone smoked and charcoal gradient, and the other in a vibrant cobalt blue over a warm amber/translucent bottom. Both pieces are crowned with elongated, hand-pulled black glass stems sculpted into an asymmetrical, sinuous wavy neck design. These striking modernist forms are incised De Alba on the base. Measuring 10 inches H x 4 W.
