Royal Copenhagen Faun Pan on Pillar With Rabbit Figurine Model 456
Description
Royal Copenhagen Model number 456 porcelain figurine, depicting a Faun on a Column with a Rabbit. Model number 456 on underside with mark in blue underglaze, WX. Impressed mark on reverse of pillar.
Design: A young faun sitting atop a fluted pillar playing a flute while looking down at a small white rabbit or squirrel at the base.
Dimensions: Approximately 21 cm (8.25 inches) tall, with a base measuring roughly 8 cm (3.25 inches) square.
Rarity: This model was retired in 1934, making older pieces particularly sought after by collectors.
Condition: Restoration to one bunny ear.
