Aureliano Toso (Attrib.) Battuto Murano Glass Vase, Biomorphic Form
Description
An organically formed Murano glass vase executed in the battuto technique, attributed to Aureliano Toso. The asymmetrical, biomorphic silhouette is rendered in a vibrant, saturated ruby red, with a subtly tapering neck and rounded base. The exterior is entirely hand-worked with a faceted, hammered surface. The interior retains a smooth, polished finish, contrasting with the tactile exterior.
