19th C Miniature Portrait Painting of an Officer, Sir Hamilton Signed Armor
Description
A miniature portrait, likely painted in the late 18th or early 19th century, depicting an officer in a red military uniform with gold epaulets and a white star insignia. Signed over sitter’s right shoulder, Armor, inscribed on back, Sir Hamilton. It is housed in a deep, circular ebonized wood frame with a brass inner bezel ring.
