Charles Henry Cook (Irish, 1830-1906), a Victorian-era artist noted for his realistic portrayals of 19th-century rural Irish life. A depiction of an interior scene with sleeping figure being pick pocketed by two waifs.
Condition: Relined, some loss middle right corner and restored.
Dimensions: Canvas measures 24 inches H x 18 W , frame measures 29 x 23 inches.
