Antique Chinese Qing Mottled Sang de Boeuf Ginger Jar
Description
Chinese antique large Sang de Boeuf Oxblood ginger jar, the ovoid form covered in a deep mottled plum coloured glaze with colour striations, underside of jar is unglazed with rough edge rim, with later complementary lid. Qing Dynasty, circa late 18th – early 19th century.
Dimensions: 12.5 inches H x 7.5 W, 13.5 inches H on stand.
Provenance: property of a late prominent Montreal collector.
