Description

A carved wooden figure of Jesus Christ without the cross, historically designed to be attached to one c. the 18th C.  

The figure is depicted with missing arms, broken off at the armpits and features a gilded loincloth draping around the hips and traces of red paint emanating from his wounds.
Condition: Some chips and loss to figure, missing toes and loss to paint as shown.
Dimensions: 14 inches H x 4 W.
