An ancient Roman glass unguentarium (perfume or oil bottle), typically dating from the 1st to 3rd century AD. 

It features a long, narrow neck designed to slow evaporation and control the dispensing of precious oils, medicines, or perfumes. 
The body is pear-shaped (piriform) or ovoid, sitting on a flat base. 
The exterior surface displays a weathered, iridescent patina
These vessels were commonly produced using glass-blowing techniques, which became widespread during the Roman period. 
Dimensions: 9 inches H x 3.5 W.
