A collection of ancient terracotta oil lamps, likely originating from the Roman, Byzantine, or Hellenistic periods in the Mediterranean region. 

Material: These lamps are made from clay (terracotta) and were typically mold-made or hand-modeled. 
Function: They were used for lighting by pouring fuel, such as olive oil, into the filling hole and placing a wick in the nozzle. 
Age: These artifacts generally date from approximately the 1st century BC to the 5th century AD. 
Dimensions: Individual lamps typically range in length from 2.5 to 4.5 inches.
