An ancient Roman ceramic vessel / pyxis or jar.

Material: It is made of terracotta or earthenware clay, sometimes burnished for decoration or reduced porosity. 
Purpose: Such vessels were commonly used as containers for liquids, oils, or cosmetic substances.
Design: Featuring a hand-shaped body with handles, and exhibit mottled red and black colouring on the handles.
Dimensions: 4 inches H x 4 W.
