Japanese woodblock print (ukiyo-e) titled Akabane, created by the artist Hiroshige II Utagawa (also known as Shigenobu, 1826-1869). 

This piece is part of the series Views of Famous Places in Edo (Edo Meisho Zue) and was published between 1861 and 1864 by Fujiokaya Keijiro. 

Artist: Hiroshige II Utagawa, the pupil and adopted son of the legendary Hiroshige I. 
Scene: The print depicts a scenic view of the Akabane district in Edo (modern-day Tokyo). It features a winding river flanked by green slopes, with a distinctive pagoda visible in the background among the trees. 
Context: Hiroshige II is known for completing the famous One Hundred Famous Views of Edo after his master’s death, though this specific "Akabane" print belongs to his own later series. 
Dimensions: Loose sheet measures 14 inches H x 9.5 W.
