Japanese woodblock print from a series by Tsukioka Kogyo (1869-1927) appearing in the book Kogyo Kachogacho. 

Tsukioka Kogyo (1869-1927) was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. He was a disciple of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi and created many ukiyo-e works themed on ‘Nou, ’ a traditional Japanese dance.
Artist: Primarily attributed to Tsukioka Kogyo, a notable ukiyo-e artist who studied under Tsukioka Yoshitoshi.
Subject: A hawk or falcon in flight, a recurring motif in Japanese art symbolizing power, nobility, and the passage of time.
Dimensions: Paper measures 9.5 inches H x 10 W, frame measures 17 x 18 inches.
