Ceramic tile mosaic depicting one of Invader’s iconic Space Invader figures, executed in red and yellow glazed ceramic tiles arranged on a rectilinear grid. The pixelated alien form is set against a contrasting ground, consistent with the artist’s Miami invasion palette and typology. The work retains visible signs of urban installation and removal, including minor edge wear and tile losses, inherent to its original architectural placement.

Catalogue Note
Invader is among the most internationally recognized street artists, known for installing ceramic tile mosaics in public space since the late 1990s. His works form part of meticulously documented “invasions” of cities worldwide, each catalogued and numbered by location.
Miami represents one of Invader’s fully realized American invasion cities. Mosaics from this series were installed on bridges, overpasses, and urban infrastructure and were later removed or disappeared, a phenomenon well documented in both photographic records and subsequent market activity. Detached examples with clear photographic and publication references are actively collected and regularly appear at auction.
This example aligns in scale, palette, and design with authenticated Miami invasion works.
