Description
Oil and mixed media impasto on canvas executed in 1965, titled L’Homme et Masque No. 3. A heavily textured and gestural composition combining abstract figural elements with thick impasto and collage-like surface applications. The work presents a dense, tactile surface with layered pigments in earth tones, blacks, and flashes of yellow and red, creating a powerful mid-century expressionist aesthetic.
Signed and dated verso 1965, titled L’Homme et Masque No. 3. The canvas retains period inscriptions and studio markings.
